Geo 303: Economic Geography

The study of economic geography involves an explanation of interrelationships
that explain why various types of economic activity locate or do business
where they do. Aspects of economic patterns and distributions will be
examined to give meaning as to why different types of economic activity
locate where they do. The class will examine aspects of globalization,
nature of multi-national corporations, characteristics of the developed
and developing regions, retail location, market studies, and characteristics
of trade areas.
