Welcome to the HERC

The Holocaust Education Resource Center on the Northern Kentucky University campus is the first of its kind in Kentucky and the only Holocaust education center affiliated with a university in the mid-South. It represents and supports Northern Kentucky University’s mission to foster innovative educational opportunities and community outreach in the metropolitan northern Kentucky region.

The Center offers programs, multimedia resources, and speakers focusing on the Holocaust and other genocides. Our primary purpose is to address issues of civic responsibility, encourage humane treatment for people of all ethnicity, color, and religions, and instill a greater global consciousness among our region’s students and the public.
