Other Spring 2005 Activities

During the Spring term, Center volunteers are working with five local middle school teachers to implement a pilot project in the visual arts called Tiles for Tolerance. Participating educators will attend an orientation session, receive a teacher packet of suggested classroom materials, and work with Center staff as students create tiles reflecting their personal responses to the Holocaust. These tiles will be mounted and temporarily displayed in the HERC before they are exhibited in the schools.
