COUNSELING SERVICES

 

The mission of Counseling Services is to facilitate student's personal growth and development as well as learning and retention at the University.

The Counseling staff provides a variety of confidential services at no charge: 

 
 

Consultations

Counselors are available to work with university departments, organizations or other groups in understanding more about interpersonal relations, group processes, college student development, and other psychological issues.

Psychological Testing

Psychological testing is offered through Counseling Services.  Generally testing is completed only when deemed necessary and appropriate by both yourself and your counselor.

Types of psychological testing available:

  • Objective Personality Assessment

  • Projective Personality Assessment
  • Intelligence Testing
  • Achievement Testing

Counseling Services does not provide testing for the determination of eligibility for special services on- or off-campus, disability determination, or assessments to be used for the court system. [top]

Presentations and Workshops

Counseling Services provides a variety of workshops and presentations free of charge for classes or groups within the University.
