The Graduate Student  Honor Code and Appeal Policies

The Honor Code sets standards of academic integrity and provides procedures that offers basic assurances of fundamental fairness to any person accused of violations of these rules.

The Honor Code and Appeals Policy handbook  (Word) (PDF)  provides definitions of behavior that constitue Academic dishonesty, Research Misconduct and Ethical Violations. Additionally, the handbook spells out procedures for appeals.

GRADE APPEAL POLICY – Graduate students follow the same grade appeal process as undergraduate students.  This policy can be found in the Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities, Section VII. Academic Grievance Process.

Each NKU graduate student is bound by the provisions of the Honor Code and is presumed to be familiar with all of its provisions.
