I teach in the Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology program. I currently teach Selection and Appraisal (PSY 635), Teams and Teamwork (PSY 694), and Discussion Forum (PSY 601). I also teach undergraduate Industrial/Organizational Psychology (PSY 344).
Research:
My research addresses how stereotypes are applied in workplace settings. Specifically, I examine how factors such as gender, race, solo status, and parental status affect perceptions of work-related competence. I am also interested in how social comparison processes operate in organizational settings and the implications of such processes for the development of self-concept.
