In order to log into the Linux machines in ST 361 from off campus, you must run the Virtual
Private Network software, VPN.  To log in to the VPN, go to
http://it.nku.edu/faculty/networks/vpn.php and follow the instructions there.

You will also need to download the PuTTY software so that you can use ssh.  To download putty, to to www.putty.org and follow the download link.

Once you have vpn'ed in, use putty to ssh to one of the computers in ST 361 (the machine aliases are all ast361-pc##.hh.nku.edu where ## is a number from 01 to 20 such as ast361-pc05.hh.nku.edu)

When you are done with your session, remember to log off of the machine in 361, exit PuTTY AND disconnect from the VPN.
