Freeze Frame (Updated 02/24/2007 06:43 PM)

I've been looking so long at these pictures of you
That I almost believe that they're real
I've
been living so long with my pictures of you
That I almost believe that the pictures are
All I can feel

Street Talk.  We were fortunate to have my buddies Toddo and Succo in for a town hall chat about financial markets.  The best COB event I've been assoicated with.  More pix and info can be found here.

Hotel California.  Out at Minyans in the Mountains II in Ojai to help move the UMV project along.

Big Easy.  Presented a paper at the 2004 Academy of Management conference.  Got to stay at my buddy Murph's pad in the Quarter.  Great time at the conference too although, as you can see, I wasn't much on business-related shots.  Some awesome clouds one night on the Riverwalk, tho.

Easton Honor.  Receiving the 2004 Sandy Easton Outstanding Teaching Award from Sandy herself.  An extremely high honor since COB students determine the recipient.  Have been fortunate enough to receive three consecutive Sandy Easton awards (2003, 2004, 2005).

NYC 2004.  Helped 'chaperone' the Finance Student Association (FSA) trip to NYC in April.  Key event in this trip was finally shaking hands with my friend Toddo.  A little light on student pix here, but did score some pretty nice scenery shots.  There are few things finer than Central Park in Springtime.

GA Daze.  Sometimes hard to recall the doctoral student career.  Not much to document it either, picturewise.  While at UC, I easily set a college if not a university record for most sections taught by a GA.  By the time I left UC, I had nearly 30 sections of teaching experience under my belt in subjects ranging from OM to entrepreneurship to strategy to international business.  Noice!  No complaints here, though, as teaching was the main impetus for my return to the academy, and these teaching opportunities provided a ton of experience.  Was also honored with several teaching awards.  Below is the second of three consecutive College of Business Administration Graduate Teaching Excellence Awards, this one presented by associate dean Ralph Katerberg in spring of 1999.
