This page will serve as the home page for the MV3 project. All news posted on this page will remain for the duration of the project. Newest info will be posted at the top; scroll down for historical items.

5/3/06 10:45 pm. MV3 is now history! Heartfelt thanks to all who participated. I should have some findings to report sometime this summer. Let me know if you'd like to see them.

4/10/06 9:05 pm. Three weeks left to go in MV3. Stay focused on the MV3 Syllabus. Use your time to focus on the lessons the Buzz Lite. Remember to keep (honest) track of your time. During the final week of class, we'll administer the second questionnaire.

3/24/06 7:55 pm. Remember to keep track of your time during the project. Record the time you spend in minutes. Once again, please be honest when reporting your time. Don't over-report, as it will hurt our research analysis.

3/1/06 9:40 pm. Spring break is upon us. Most of you have set up your Minyanville accounts (thx!). For those who haven't, perhaps Spring Break is your chance;-). Where should you be right now in the MV3 project? I think you should have completed the first week's requirements on the MV3 Syllabus. Now, you should be trying to complete at least one lesson per week, and allocating any remain time towards reading the Buzz Lite.

2/17/06 9:55 am. Peering through Minyanville's account management lens, I see that approximately 50% of MV3 participants have logged into the Minyanville site and set up their accounts. Welcome aboard! For those who haven't done so yet, you'll find the log-in info below. Once in, head to the MV3 syllabus for guidance on what to do.

Complete the first lesson: UMV 100 Introduction to Minyanville.
Browse thru a few recent posts on the Buzz Lite if you have time/interest in week one.

2/6/06 1:30 pm. The MV3 Syllabus is now posted. This is the agenda you should follow during the project. Project starts this Wednesday Feb 8th.

2/1/06 12:30 pm. We're on hold for MV3 till the week of Feb 6th. Problems on my end...

1/21/06 10:15 am. Tentative start date for the MV3 project is February 1st. On this date, I'll administer the first questionnaire and distribute login info for the Minyanville website.

1/20/06 7:05 pm. Background on the MV3 project has been posted. It includes the requirements and incentive for participating in the extra credit project. Please read thru. I'll be looking to commitment beginning the week of 1/23.
