I teach in the graduate program in the College of Education and Human Services at NKU, as well as coordinate civics education projects in Cincinnati-area schools. I also serve as the president of the Midwestern Educational Research Association, and work part-time as a scout for the Cincinnati Reds.
In addition, I have written seven books on baseball history, covering the following teams:
1934 St. Louis Cardinals 1935 Chicago Cubs 1967-1968 St. Louis Cardinals
1969 Chicago Cubs 1976 Cincinnati Reds 1985 St. Louis Cardinals
Plus... a coffee table-style book, St. Louis Cardinals: Past and Present
I have also written another book, a textbook on curriculum studies entitled Curriculum and the American Rural School.
Some personal interests... I like to run, lift weights, travel,
read about history, volunteer with my church, and most of all - hang out at home
with my two best friends... my wife, Angie, and my dog, Dizzy (as
pictured below, Dizzy was a pirate this past Halloween).
