Advising

Environmental science majors will have an advising hold to register for each semester.  To remove this hold they must meet with their advisor to discuss their progress and decide which classes they will be taking.  Environmental studies minors will not have a registration hold, but it is strongly suggested that they meet with the program director at least once a year for direction and advising.

Preparation:

Advising takes place during a two week period every spring and fall semester, and is by appointment only.  Students receive an email in advance notifying them about advising dates and how to sign up for an advising appointment.  Prior to appointments, students should have filled out one of the advising checklists below based on their catalog year.  It will also benefit them to take a look and the Environmental Science Four Year Plan.
