Activity Resources for Loan to Educators
Many educators need instructional materials to extend the
environmental learning of their students but lack funds to purchase
them. Theme based
activity trunks and other curriculum resources
are available for loan. To
schedule a time to borrow the resources, please contact us at enved@nku.edu or 859-572-1545.
RESOURCE LOAN PROCEDURES
- Make a specific topic request or visit the center to look through all of the resources.
- Complete the sign out log for resources you will borrow.
- Submit a usage fee of $5-10. Current NKU students may use all of the resources for free. Other educators that may not be able to submit the usage fee are encouraged to talk to the director about a fee waiver. Cash or check is accepted. Make checks payable to NKU Center for Environmental Education. Funds will be used to continue the loan program, replace used items, update and purchase new resources for loan.
- Keep the resources for 2-4 weeks and use them with your students or participants.
- Return resources, complete the sign in log, and provide feedback.
