Information on English Class Offerings

Two-Year Schedule of English Classes

The Department of Literature and Language attempts to organize its course offerings two years in advance to allow its students to plan their progress toward graduation and the fulfillment of major requirements. The two-year schedule of classes is posted in the display case outside the department office, Landrum Academic Center 500.

The department makes every attempt to provide the classes on the two-year schedule during the semester indicated. Occasionally scheduled classes or days and times must be changed because of faculty leaves or a shift in curricular priorities. Meeting the main goal of the two-year schedule--to provide access to required and elective courses for English majors on the basis of a reasonable rotation of offerings--is a strong commitment of the department.

Course Advertisements

Each semester during the early registration period, the Department of Literature and Language posts advertisements that briefly describe the courses to be offered in the following semester. These ads appear on the bulletin board outside the department office.
