Immigration and Early Americanization
In the late 1800s and early 1900s many people immigrated to the United States of America in search of a better life for their families and themselves. People came from many different places, fleeing mainly from Italy and Germany. They arrived in America with the few belongings they were able to carry with them and big dreams for a new life. These are their stories.
