Master of Arts in Education for certified teachers
Master of Arts in Education: Teacher as Leader
The MA.Ed. is a program for certified teachers to enhance their current certification and earn a rank change with the state of Kentucky or the equivalency of a rank change in Ohio or other states. At the completion of the Master of Arts in Education: Teacher as Leader program students will earn the Teacher as Leader endorsement on their Kentucky teaching certificate.
Features of the Master in Arts of Education: Teacher as Leader
- Offers both on campus and online programs with some courses delivered in a blended format
- Out of state residents can complete the online program for the cost of in-state tuition
- Out of state residents who teach in Kentucky can complete the masters program on-campus for the cost of in-state tuition.

* These are areas of specialization. Addition of the endorsement or teaching area to a certificate may require additional coursework and/or a Praxis exam as required by KYEPSB.
