Jill is the Coordinator of Student Teaching, Consortium of Overseas Student Teaching and the Kentucky Teacher Intern Program. She holds both a B.A. and M.A. in Education from Eastern Kentucky University.
Jill feels that our program is served by excellent faculty and staff and has many outstanding students who graduate from the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) to become community leaders in education.
Prior to her current position, Jill taught 7-12 grades in both public and parochial schools. She taught in the Health and P.E. department here at NKU for four years, and was the first Freshman Retention Specialist/Advisor for the COEHS for Education students.
Jill is a member of the Association of Teacher Education (ATE) and the Kentucky Association of Teacher Education (KATE). She is very involved with the Consortium of Overseas Student Teaching (COST), which involves placing student teachers abroad for half of their placement.
Jill is married with three children, one is an NKU grad, one is a senior doing student teaching this year, and the other is a UK grad. Their family owns a home on Norris Lake where they enjoy boating. Jill is a pianist, retired from St. Pius X Church, but still plays gigs from time to time.
