Hello New and Potential Members,
 
The Social Work Club is a student run organization that is open to any declared social work major.  The purpose of the club is to offer education, community outreach and networking to its members.
 
Students are offered the opportunity to work within the community while networking with social work professionals as well as learning job related skills.  It is also an opportunity for students to enhance their employment value by listing participation in the social work club on his or her resume.

Meetings:

Meetings are held every month on the second Tuesday and lunch will be provided. Please come out and join us!

 Membership:
 The club dues are $5 for an entire year.  Members are required to attend at least three meetings and volunteer in one activity sponsored by the club throughout the school year.
 
If you are enrolled in practicum, you will only be asked to attend one meeting and volunteer for one project during the semester.

Phi Alpha Honors Society
 Students who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a social work GPA of 3.25 have the privilege to join our National Honor Society known as Phi Alpha.
