Teacher Education Model Program Grant
Northern Kentucky University is proud to be partnered
with Eastern Kentucky and all other Kentucky Institutions
participating in the TEMP Grant.
The TEMP Grant offers us with a great opportunity to
provide continued support, training, and technology
resources to our faculty and P-12 community in the most
efficient and effective means possible. This survey will help to guide
us in future faculty development opportunities. This will also provide
us with necessary benchmark data to compare against at the end of the
TEMP project.
How did we decide how to be involved in the TEMP
Grant?
Several meetings with key faculty
interested in the TEMP goals were the first steps. Many of these key
faculty also attended the statewide TEMP meetings. In addition Teacher
Education Model Program (TEMP) goals were discussed with Arts & Science
faculty through emails and in a Teacher Quality Enhancement (TQE) grant
meeting. It was decided that a focus on technology would be the way to
incorporate many of the TEMP goals and build on current strengths and
needs.
