Shelley Simpson

Shelley has her Masters in Education and has obtained the Early Care and Education Trainer Credential for Kentucky. She has been at the ECC for six years, and was a Montessori and Elementary teacher for five years.

She is a mentor for the Boone County Success by 6 Quality Self-Study Project in addition to being a member of their Quality Early Care Task Force and is lead volunteer of the Kenton County Success by Six Quality Self-Study Project. She is also on the NKU IECE Program Committee, a cooperating teacher for teacher interns and supervises early childhood students in their admissions practicum.

Shelley enjoys interacting with the children to help them make discoveries, deal with emotions and develop their language skills. Most of all, she enjoys watching them learn and grow through play.
