•  Providing the necessary accommodations to ensure complete access to, and full participation in, the educational process does not require the professor to compromise academic standards when evaluating academic performance.

• Rather, the accommodations make it possible for a student with a disability to truly learn the material presented, and for a professor to fairly evaluate the student’s understanding of the material.

• Accommodations are made based on the documentation supplied by the student

• Preferential Seating in the Classroom

• Student may use Tape Recorder in the Classroom

• Exam Proctor (Use of a Reader and/or a Scribe)

• Alternative Scheduling of Exams, Extended Time

• Copies of Overheads, Transparencies, and Notes

• Use of Aids during Exams: Calculator, Word Processor, and Special Equipment

• Interpreters (signers for the deaf)

• Volunteer note takers

• Albright Health Center (Gymnasium and Pool)
