Tom Cate
Dr. Thomas Cate is Professor of Economics. His teaching specialties are in principles of macroeconomics and microeconomics, managerial economics, and the global context of business. Dr. Cate's research interests include alternative methods of presenting principles of economics, international trade and productivity, and Keynesian economics. His numerous journal articles, editorships, encyclopedia entries, and other works have established him as one of the country’s foremost experts on the economics of John Maynard Keynes. Dr. Cate earned both his M.S. in economics and his doctorate in economics at Florida State University.
