Scholarships
Students majoring in chemistry or its pre-medical program are eligible to apply for the following scholarships along with several others listed with the Office of Student Financial Assistance:
CINSAM Scholarship
Eligibility: First-time freshmen must have an ACT score of 25 or higher: must rank in the top 25% of their graduating class: must be a math or science major. Continuing students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum GPA in their major of 3.0.
Amount: Varies
Duration: Once academic year, excluding summer session.

Albert and Louise Cooper Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be a junior or senior chemistry major enrolled for at least 10 credit hours.

Duration: One academic year, excluding summer sessions.

Robert W. & Sue D. Goderwis Endowed Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be a Kentucky resident majoring in one of the physical sciences or within the Department of Technology; must be a full-time student and have a minimum ACT score of 20 and GPA of 3.25.

Duration: One academic year, excluding summer sessions.

William H. Greaves Undergraduate Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be a science, math, computer science, pre-engineering, electronic engineering technology or manufacturing engineering technology major; freshmen must rank in the top 25% of their high school class and have an ACT composite score of 25 or higher; continuing students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Amount: Varies.
Duration: One academic year; renewable for 2-3 years, excluding summer sessions.

NKU Math & Science Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be a first-time freshman with a high school grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and an ACT score of 26 or higher. Must declare and maintain a major in Math or Science. Must meet NKU's regular admissions requirements.
Amount: $5,000 per academic year
Duration: One academic year, renewable for 3 additional years with the maintenance of a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher and must have earned 24 credit hours in the previous academic year.

Northern Kentucky Medical Society Alliance
Eligibility: Student must be a senior pre-medical student accepted for enrollment into medical school; must be a resident of Boone, Campbell or Kenton county in Kentucky; must have a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative GPA.
Amount: Varies.
Duration: Spring semester.

Northern Kentucky Medical Society Pre-Medical Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be registered with the Pre-Medical Review Board; must have completed initial interview, must be of junior or senior standing with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Duration: One academic year, excluding summer sessions.
