Teacher Certification in Chemistry
A Bachelor of Arts major in chemistry is eligible for certification to teach in Kentucky at the secondary level.
Before pursuing teacher certification, students should review the "Chemistry Education Program Curriculum" on the College of Education and Human Services website.
To complete the degree, students must satisfy chemistry, education and general education requirements. They will be assigned advisors in both chemistry and education to help them meet those requirements.
