Majors in Chemistry

A degree in chemistry can open the door to several careers, including research and development, medicine, pharmacy, education and criminal justice.

Our department offers chemistry majors a modern curriculum that leads to five different degrees, including a Bachelor of Science that meets requirements for American Chemical Society certification.

We also offer Bachelor of Science degrees for students who want to pursue careers in biochemistry or forensics.

For students interested in teaching chemistry, we have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a corresponding Teacher Certification program.
