Objectives

The objective of this lab is to observe and classify a series of chemical reactions that start and end with metallic copper. With careful laboratory techniques you should also observe the law of conservation of mass; i.e., the mass of copper recovered at the end of the cycle should be the same as the mass of the starting copper.
