Your lab instructor may require you to utilize the electronic versions of the pre-lab, data, calculations, and post-lab sections of your lab manual.  These files are Microsoft Word forms that you can fill in and print out, thus producing a nice, neat copy for you to turn in!

Follow these instructions to properly use the forms:

1. Save the form on your own computer by right-clicking on the appropriate link and selecting "Save Target As...".

2. Open the form in Microsoft Word.

3. The highlighted spaces on the form are the spaces where you can type in your answers. Note that you can not change the font style, size, etc. in the form. This can pose problems when entering in scientific notation or chemical formulas, so use the following suggestions:

H_2_O
Na^+^

4. Some questions require you to perform a math calculation, draw a chemical structure, etc.  A dashed box is provided on the forms for you to neatly write in the answer (in pen, of course) after you print out the form.
