The NKU Center for Excellence in Advocacy continues NKU Chase's tradition of innovative advocacy skills training through a unique partnership of law students, faculty and seasoned practitioners. By participating in the center's activities, students learn practical skills related to pretrial practice, negotiating, mediating, trial advocacy and appellate advocacy. The center enables students to develop the skills necessary to handle a case from beginning to end. The center plans to invite a distinguished practitioner to visit NKU Chase each year to share experiences and insights about the realities of trial advocacy with the College of Law community.
