Sep 04, 2009 - Bob Hoffer '80, partner at Dressman Benzinger LaVelle, was named as one of the six Leaders of Distinction as part of the 30th anniversary of Leadership Northern Kentucky.

Hoffer graduated in the Leadership of Northern Kentucky Class of 2007. As class vice president and chair of his class project for Leadership Northern Kentucky, the class raised more than $60,000 to construct a covered play area for the residents at Diocesan Catholic Children's Home.

Additionally, Hoffer has served as a board member for Blessed Sacrament Church Pastoral Counsel and Boosters, Carmel Manor Nursing Home, Diocesan Catholic Children's Home Board and Foundation, St. Elizabeth Foundation, Kentucky Defense Counsel, Crossroads Hospice, Northern Kentucky Bar Association and the advisory board for Sisters of Divine Providence.

He also has coached youth sports for more than 20 years and been a leader for the Diocese of Covington assisting with their Cursillo and Christian Awakening retreats.

Hoffer heads the firm's employment law division which represents employers throughout the region.
