Aug 07, 2009 - NKU Chase Professor Henry "Steve" Stephens was selected for inclusion in the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America(R) in the specialty of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey comprising more than 2.8 million confidential evaluations by the top attorneys in the country. The publication has been described by The American Lawyer as "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."

Professor Stephens was the dean of the Chase College of Law and returned to the faculty to teach in the areas of Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Evidence. Stephens received his Juris Doctor at the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University. Currently, he is a member of the Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, and American Bar Associations. Stephens's practical experience includes both government service and private practice. Stephens has written on issues involving the coal industry and black lung litigation.
