Apr 08, 2009 - On April 3 and 4, the twenty-second Annual August A. Rendigs Jr. National Products Liability Moot Court Competition was hosted by the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Chase sent two teams (Sheena Baylon, Carolyn Besl, and Matt Strange; and Greg Coulson, Meg Hall and Frank Tremper). Twenty-five teams represented law schools from across the nation.

The team of Sheena Baylon, Carolyn Besl, and Matt Strange advanced to the 'Elite Eight' of the competition. In addition to this team accomplishment, Ms. Besl won the award for the Best Advocate.

The 2009 Competition involved the issues of federal preemption and excessive punitive damages.
