Mar 06, 2009 - Associate Professor Jennifer Anglim Kreder will speak to students at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago about Nazi era art litigation on Monday, March 9, 2009. Professor Kreder's former position as a Litigation Associate with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP in New York, focused on Holocaust era inter-governmental negotiation and litigation issues and art disputes. Her scholarship since entering academia has maintained this focus, and she has taught Art Law and Cultural Property Law at Chase and abroad. Kreder is currently involved in an appeal dealing with a Nazi era art claim that is before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She also recently spoke on a panel led by the State Department's Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues J. Christian Kennedy. This panel is gathering information in preparation for a conference hosted by the Government of the Czech Republic in Prague, June 26-30, 2009.
