Oct 09, 2009 - The annual Chase Alumni Luncheon is on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 12:00 to 1:00 (doors open at 11:30) at NKU's Bank of Kentucky Center. This will be the alumni association's sixth annual alumni banquet; the second held as a luncheon. The Bank of Kentucky Center is NKU's 9,400-seat arena and is conveniently located at the end of I-471 on Nunn Drive with ample parking. The cost of the luncheon is $25 per person (or free for paid members of the Chase Alumni Association).

The alumni association will present its annual alumni awards at the luncheon. The 2009 Chase alumni award recipients are: Lifetime Achievement Award - Judge Ralph Winkler '70, Ohio Court of Appeals (retired); Professional Achievement Award - M. Denise Kuprionis '94, Vice President, Secretary and Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer, The E.W. Scripps Company; Exceptional Service Award - Judge John Andrew West '71, Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas; and Outstanding Recent Alumnus Award - Brett A. Schatz '00, Partner, Wood, Herron & Evans. This luncheon is a wonderful opportunity for alumni and friends to gather once a year to celebrate Chase College of Law. The luncheon will conclude at 1:00 sharp!

The Chase Alumni Association is also presenting a CLE Program at The Bank of Kentucky Center on the same day as the luncheon. The program, titled "A View From Across the River II: Nuances Between Kentucky and Ohio Practice," offers 5.5 hours of CLE including the topics of ethics, professionalism, and substance abuse (approval pending in Kentucky and Ohio). Non-alumni are also welcome. The cost of the CLE Program is $50 (or free for paid members of the Chase Alumni Association). The CLE Program begins at 8:15 and ends at 4:00, including a break for the Chase Alumni Luncheon. All CLE attendees may attend the Chase Alumni Luncheon for free.
