Prospective Students
The Career Development Office develops close and long-term relationships with NKU Chase students, becoming an integral part of their law school experience and post-graduation professional development. Located at the center of student activity, the Career Development Office is next to the student lounge and classrooms in the student services suite making it convenient for students to stop in for counseling, resume assistance or interview preparation.
The Career Development Office helps prepare Chase students to be successful job seekers by providing assistance with:
- networking
- career planning
- job search strategies
- resume and cover letter preparation
- effective interviewing techniques
The Office also counsels students individually and offers many seminars and programs designed to assist in students' career exploration and transition to the legal profession. Through an orientation session, the Career Development Office introduces first-year students to its many services and the important steps to take during the first year to lay the foundation for professional development and career success. The Office's strong relationship with employers and alumni enable Chase's students to have varied opportunities for employment in the legal profession after graduation.
