U.S. Supreme Court Admissions Ceremony

Chase Alumni are invited to participate in the fifth annual Chase Alumni Admissions Ceremony at the Supreme Court of the United States on Monday, May 18, 2009.  To be eligible to participate, you must have been admitted to the practice of law for at least three years immediately preceding your admission, and you must not have been the subject of any adverse disciplinary action during the past three years.

The cost of the trip will depend on the plans of each participant.  Each person being admitted is permitted to have one guest in the Courtroom to witness the ceremony. The registration fee is $350 per applicant ($150 per guest), excluding travel and lodging.  Chase has a special room rate of $254 per night at a hotel on Capitol Hill near the Supreme Court and the Capitol.  The registration fee includes the $200 admission fee to the Supreme Court, a group reception on Sunday evening, a breakfast reception at the Supreme Court and a group lunch after the ceremony.  Participants who are not already paid members of the Chase Alumni Association are also required to pay the $50 annual membership dues.

If you would like to participate in the Chase Alumni Group Admission Ceremony at the U.S. Supreme Court on May 18, 2009, please contact Shelley Menninger at (859)572-1461 or menningermi@nku.edu immediately.  Although the initial registration deadline has passed, there are a limited number of spaces still available.
