CLE Programs

The Chase Alumni Association presents one or two CLE programs annually that are free for paid members of the Chase Alumni Association.  In 2008, the association participated in one College of Law CLE program in June and sponsored a second CLE program in October.

On June 13, 2008, the Chase Center for Excellence in Advocacy held its inaugural CLE program entitled “A Day on Trial! Winning Trials in the 21st Century.” The program featured internationally recognized trial experts Thomas A. Mauet and Dominic J. Gianna. They turned the classroom into a courtroom through a gavel-to-gavel interactive trial demonstration.  The program, which provided 6 hours of CLE credit for Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana, was free for paid members of the Chase Alumni Association or $50 for non-members.  More than 250 alumni, other practitioners and students attended.

On October 10, 2008, the Chase Alumni Association presented a CLE program at The Bank of Kentucky Center on the same day as the Chase Alumni Luncheon.  The program, entitled “A View From Across the River: Nuances Between Kentucky and Ohio Practice,” provided 6 hours of CLE credit for Kentucky and Ohio, including 1 hour of ethics for Kentucky and 1 hour of professionalism for Ohio.  The CLE Program was free for paid members of the Chase Alumni Association or $50 for non-members.  Seventy-five alumni and other practitioners attended.
