Sat., Feb.16, 2002, 10:15 -11:30AM: Black & Gold Day Here's an opportunity to impact the next crop of biologists and get to know other alumni.  Best of all, it only takes one hour!  During Black & Gold Days alumni and faculty discuss biology careers with interested high school students and parents. Tue. March 05, 2002, 7:00PM: We meet at The Lloyd Library (917 Plum St.) for a tour hosted by Dr. John Thieret. Lloyd is among the best libraries for botany, pharmacy, herbal medicine, natural products and horticulture. Please RSVP by Fri., March 01 via BioAlumni listserve .

Sat. April 06, 2002, : Dr. Barry Dalton, head of NKU Environmental Resource Management Ctr. (ERMC), will lead a field trip to the Adair Wildlife Area. It is a 640-acre site N of Big Bone State Park where ERMC manages the ecological restoration of 20 acres of bottomland forest. Depart HAC 9:00AM.

Sat. April 27, 2002, : Dr. Richard Durtsche will lead a Herpetology field trip and review his lizard work in tropical Mexico. His enthusiasm for undergraduate research is excellent. Depart HAC 9:00AM.

Dr. Ray McNeil, Physics & Geology, joins us for another look at the stars through his telescope. We’ve chosen the darkest night of the month. Meet at the Mark R.
