Mission
The purpose of the Black Faculty and Staff Association shall be to
facilitate and influence educational, administrative and personnel policies
that affect the welfare of Black members of Northern Kentucky University.
The Association will also provide a structure which will promote a sense of
kinship among its membership.
The phrase "Promote a sense of kinship" is meant to provide for the
membership, certain social, political, or spiritual activities that will
compliment employment on the NKU campus. A further intention is for the
Black Faculty and Staff Association to make contact with other campus
organizations, and neighboring institutions in an attempt to bring the Black
community together.
