NKU RUNNERS COMPETE AT DAYTON

Bullock leads NKU men, Carskadon paces Norse women

DAYTON, Ohio - The Northern Kentucky University cross country teams competed at the University of Dayton Flyer Challenge on Saturday, and several Norse runners had impressive performances.

NKU freshman runner Brad Bullock posted a 30th-place finish in the men’s five-kilometer run with a time of 16:22. Norse junior Greaham Niemer finished 35th with a time of 16:26.

NKU junior Tracy Carskadon finished 16th in the women’s race with a time of 19:52. NKU freshman Julianne Hoekzema posted an 18th-place finish in a time of 20:02.

The Norse will play host to the NKU Invitational this Friday (Sept. 10) at A.J. Jolly Park in Alexandria, Ky.
