NKU SET FOR REGIONAL CROSS COUNTRY MEET

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University cross country teams will participate at the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regionals this Saturday at Joplin, Mo.

The meet, which is hosted by Missouri Southern State College, will be held at the MSSC Cross Country Course. The women’s six-kilometer race will start at noon (CST), and the men’s 10 kilometer race will begin at 1 p.m.

The NKU women posted a seventh-place finish at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships two weeks ago at Indianapolis, and the Norse men finished eighth. The NKU women enter the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional with a record of 50-37, and the NKU men own a record of 46-35.
