Two weeks earlier, she set a Norse record in the six-kilometer run with a time of 22:45 at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships at A.J. Jolly Park.

As a team, the NKU women posted a 17th-place finish in the 22-team field with a score of 468.

In the men’s 10-kilometer race, NKU posted an 11th-place finish with a score of 313. Greaham Niemer finished 40th with a time of 33:46, while teammate Keith Knapp was 45th in a time of 33:57.

The Norse finished ahead of GLVC rivals Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Bellarmine University and the University of Indianapolis.
