NKU senior named first team All-Great Lakes Region |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky Universitys Kristin Koralewski has been named first team All-Great Lakes Region by Daktronics, Inc. Koralewski, a senior outside hitter and a native of Muskego, Wis., recorded 559 kills and 390 digs this season as NKU posted a 22-9 record. Koralewski led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in both kills per game (4.99 kpg) and hitting percentage (.382) en route to earning GLVC Player of the Year honors for the second straight season. Koralewski finished her career sixth in NKU history in both kills (1,485) and digs (1,192). The team is voted on by the sports information directors of the regions member institutions and sponsored by Daktronics, Inc. Earlier in the week, Koralewski was named All-Great Lakes Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. A year ago, she earned NCAA Division II first team All-America honors from the AVCA.
