HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky Universitys Kristin Koralewski has been named All-Great Lakes Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Koralewski, a senior outside hitter and a native of Muskego, Wis., recorded 559 kills and 390 digs this season as NKU posted a 22-9 record. Koralewski led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in both kills per game (4.99 kpg) and hitting percentage (.382) en route to earning GLVC Player of the Year honors for the second straight season. Koralewski finished her career sixth in NKU history in both kills (1,485) and digs (1,192). She was an NCAA Division II first team All-America selection last year and is looking to become the first volleyball player in Norse history to receive that honor twice. The NCAA Division II All-America selections will be announced next week. |
