NKU DEFEATS QUINCY, 9-0

Norse improve to 2-0 with victory

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis team won its second match of the day on Saturday with a 9-0 victory over Quincy University.

NKU, which also posted a 9-0 win against Southern Illinois at Edwardsville earlier on Saturday, did not lose a set against Quincy. Junior Lauren Spears improved to 2-0 at No. 2 singles with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Sarah Hardin.
