Norse now own 35 consecutive GLVC victories |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Junior No. 1 singles player Jamie OHara improved to 31-0 all-time against Great Lakes Valley Conference opponents Saturday with a pair of wins as the Northern Kentucky University womens tennis team defeated both Saint Josephs College and Lewis University. OHara posted a 6-1, 6-1 win against Jill LaBarge as NKU defeated Saint Josephs, 9-0, in the first match. She later defeated Liezl Mendoza, 6-0, 6-1, as the Norse posted a 7-2 win over Lewis. OHara also teamed with senior Claudia Ruehl for a pair of victories in No. 1 doubles competition. NKU (10-0, 9-0 GLVC) has now won 35 consecutive matches against GLVC opponents, and the Norse have not lost to a conference team since the 1997 season. The Norse will travel to Dayton, Ohio, on Oct. 10 to play Wright State University.
