EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Jamie OHara improved to 29-0 all-time against Great Lakes Valley Conference opponents with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Michelle Lenahan in No. 1 singles Saturday as the Northern Kentucky University womens tennis defeated previously unbeaten University of Southern Indiana, 7-2. NKU is now 8-0 overall, 7-0 in the GLVC this season, while USI dropped to 8-1, 6-1 GLVC. OHara remained unbeaten (8-0, 7-0 GLVC) with the victory on Saturday, and she teamed with senior Claudia Ruehl to post an 8-5 victory in No. 1 doubles. Elizabeth Brunsman, Joceline McQueen, Amity Chapman and Ruehl all won their singles matches against USI. NKU has now won 33 consecutive matches against GLVC opponents, and the Norse have not lost to a conference team since the 1997 season.
