NKU WINS 45TH STRAIGHT GLVC MATCH

O’Hara extends streak to 39 against GLVC opponents

RENSSELAER, Ind. - Senior Jamie O’Hara extended her Great Lakes Valley Conference win streak to 39 Saturday with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Jill LaBarge as the Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis team defeated Saint Joseph’s College, 9-0.

O’Hara improved to 39-0 all-time against GLVC opponents as NKU won its 45th consecutive match against GLVC competition. NKU has not lost to a GLVC foe since Lewis University posted a 5-4 win against the Norse during the 1997 GLVC Championships.

NKU is now 6-1 overall, 6-0 in the GLVC.
