NKU IMPROVES TO 3-0 WITH WIN AT INDY |

OHara goes to 25-0 all-time against GLVC opponents |

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Junior No. 1 singles player Jamie OHara improved to 25-0 all-time against Great Lakes Valley Conference opponents Wednesday as the Northern Kentucky University womens tennis team defeated the University of Indianapolis, 9-0. OHara, the two-time Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year, posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Gayal Jones to improve to 3-0 this season. She also teamed with senior Claudia Ruehl for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles. Lauren Spears, Elizabeth Brunsman, Joceline McQueen, Amity Chapman and Ruehl all posted straight-set wins in singles for the Norse. Christina Dausch teamed with Chapman for an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles. NKU has now won 29 consecutive matches against GLVC opponents, and the Norse have not lost to a conference team since the 1997 season. NKU will travel to Louisville, Ky., on Saturday for a 9 a.m. match against Bellarmine University.
