Kevill gets two assists as NKU wins seventh consecutive match |

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Junior Lori Kevill scored a goal and had two assists Friday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University womens soccer team defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College, 5-1. Sophomore Jill Johannigman scored a goal and had an assist for NKU, which won its seventh consecutive match. The Norse are now 8-1 overall, 3-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU built a 3-0 halftime lead and coasted to the win. NKU, ranked No. 3 nationally in the Division II poll, will return home on Sunday at 3 p.m. to meet the University of Indianapolis at the Town & Country Sports Complex in Wilder. NKU 5, KWC 1 GOALS: NKU-Johannigman, Kevill, Bushelman, Eagan, Noakes. KWC-Murphy. RECORDS: NKU 8-1, 3-0 GLVC; KWC 2-4, 0-3 GLVC. |
