NKU REMAINS UNBEATEN WITH 2-0 WIN |

Black, Zinser score goals as Norse (7-0) stay perfect |

WILDER, Ky. - Bessie Black and Kendra Zinser both scored goals Sunday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University womens soccer team defeated Bellarmine University, 2-0, at the Town & Country Sports Complex. Stephanie Sandfoss and Tricia Ruark had assists as NKU improved to 7-0 overall, 2-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse are ranked No. 2 nationally in the NCAA Division II poll. NKU took a 1-0 lead at the 29:49 mark when Black scored a goal that was assisted by Sandfoss. The Norse added an insurance goal at the 57:15 mark when Zinser beat Bellarmine goalie Ann Demeter off an assist from Ruark. NKU is now 21-0-2 during its last 23 regular-season matches. The last team to defeat the Norse in a regular-season match was the University of Missouri-Rolla, which posted a 5-3 win against NKU on Aug. 27, 2000.
