Norse women remain unbeaten (6-0) with victory |

WILDER, Ky. - Betsy Moore scored two goals and added a pair of assists Friday night as the Northern Kentucky University womens soccer team defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College, 9-0, at the Town & Country Sports Complex. Jeanna Martin, Kristen Noakes and Kendra Zinser all scored two goals as NKU improved to 6-0 overall, 1-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse are ranked No. 2 nationally in the NCAA Division II poll. NKU, which is seeking its fourth consecutive GLVC championship, enjoyed a 25-1 advantage in shot attempts. The Norse scored three goals during a 54-second span in the second half to roll to the victory. NKU is now 20-0-2 during its last 22 regular-season matches. The last team to defeat the Norse in a regular-season match was the University of Missouri-Rolla, which posted a 5-3 win against NKU on Aug. 27, 2000. NKU will play host to Bellarmine University at noon this Sunday.
